Ritch Duncan is an award-winning comedy writer, copywriter, published author, and social-media creative specializing in brand voice, with a focus on fictional and non-human characters.

Ritch spent over 12 years on staff at WarnerMedia, most recently as Senior Writer at truTV, where he created and shaped the comedic voice of the network, including a Grand Clio-winning March Madness campaign (#truTVisAThing) that generated 273M+ impressions and a 545% lift in positive sentiment. As the cable industry contracted, he pivoted into agency and contract work, crafting fictional and branded voices for Amazon's Alexa, Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso, and the iconic Sesame Street Muppets. His ability to give non-human and fictional voices a consistent, trustworthy personality led to a full time role at Microsoft’s Copy Studio, applying that skill set to large language models and conversational products.

Ritch is also a standup comedian, and the Founder/Editor-In-Chief of the independent horror/comedy publication Deathbed: Horror Stories By Comedy Writers. He co-authored the book The Werewolf's Guide to Life, a comedic guide on how to live as a newly bitten werewolf, and has written for Saturday Night Live, The New York Times, Billy On The Street, Impractical Jokers, and NPR.

Ritch is currently seeking a full-time role in brand voice, copywriting, or conversational/character-driven content.

He’d like to write for you!
